2024 'Golden Hour' Extended Maceration Sauvignon Blanc

$44.00

Farmed by Brendan Cameron, Forreston, Adelaide Hills. Certified Organic Grower

NOSE
Charred Pineapple
Jalapeño
Mandarin Peel

PALATE
Ginger
Dried Orange
Textural and restrained with fruit purity and balanced phenolics

A complex skin-contact wine that balances subtle texture with fresh fruit in harmony. The varietal fruit sweetness and savoury spice from the extended time on skins gives exceptional length, with the phenolics building body to give this the wine a magnitude of dimensions - like a kaleidoscope.

Sauvignon Blanc was hand-harvested and destemmed into an open-top fermenter. Gentle pipeage took place three times daily for three weeks before being pressed to just 2 barrels for elevage. After 11 months in barrel the wine was bottled in February of 2025 with only 800 bottles produced.
